Locally Made!

Fresh Cheese -- Cow's Milk

A summertime classic -- Fresh Mozzarella is essential.  Whether it's on top of your spring green salad, sliced up on a baguette sandwich, or on a gourmet pizza with some fiddleheads and morels, it says warm weather is here to stay in a big way!  The Produce Station features locally made fresh mozzarella in both cherry size (Ciliegine) and egg size (Ovaline) as well as fresh mozzarella from Four Corner's Creamery of Tecumseh Michigan.  Four Corner's Creamery fresh mozzarella is hand-made using only local milk and specially delivered to The Produce Station by cheese makers John & Erica Aylward

Gruyere de Comte'

Eastern France

Hard Cheese -- Raw Cow's Milk

Comte' is a Gruyere style cheese made in France.  We loved the complexity of this Comte' so much that we had them import it exclusively for us.  This is a nutty, and earthy cheese that is slightly dry.  Pair it with your favorite wine and some ripe summer fruits for an amazing combination.   -- Andy

It's Pesto Time!

Parmigiano Reggiano

"The Real Deal"

Emilia Romagna, Italy

Hard Cheese -- Raw Cow's Milk

Parmigiano Reggiano is the real deal.  We only buy wheels that have been aged 24 months or more to ensure they have the buttery aroma, nutty sweetness and a salty-caramel finish.  Eat it with your favorite cheeseboard, grate it atop your favorite pasta dish or use it in pesto!  We don't care, just make sure you treat yourself to the real thing!    -- Andy
